Frank Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Control. Alt. Delete LLC ("Frank," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with Frank — a private money line you reach by text — and our website and related services (collectively, the "Services"). It also explains the privacy choices and rights you have.

The short version. Frank connects to your financial accounts in read-only mode to understand your money and answer your questions over text. Frank can never move, send, or withdraw your money. We do not sell your personal or financial information, and we do not share it with lead-generation companies.

1. Scope and Updates

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed by us through the Services. We may revise it from time to time. If there are material changes, we will notify you as required by applicable law. If you continue to use the Services after an updated policy takes effect, you will be deemed to have accepted it.

2. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide

Account information. When you create an account or text Frank, we collect information such as your name, email address, and mobile phone number.

Your messages to Frank. We collect the content of the messages you exchange with Frank (for example, the questions you ask and the instructions you give) so that Frank can respond and improve.

Support and other communications. If you contact us for support or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the information you choose to provide.

B. Financial Account Information (via Plaid)

To provide the Services, you may connect one or more financial accounts. We use Plaid Inc. ("Plaid") to securely establish that connection. When you connect an account, you enter your credentials directly with your financial institution through Plaid — we never see or store your bank login credentials.

Through this read-only connection we receive information such as account balances, account and institution details, and transaction history (including amounts, dates, merchants, and categories). We use this information to understand your money and answer your questions. The connection does not allow Frank to move, transfer, send, or withdraw funds.Plaid's handling of your information is governed by Plaid's own privacy policy.

C. Information Collected Automatically

When you use our website, we (and third parties that provide analytics and advertising functionality) may automatically collect information such as your IP address, device and browser information, and information about how you interact with our pages, using cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies ("Technologies"). See Section 6.

D. Information from Other Sources

We may receive information from Plaid and from sign-in providers (for example, if you sign in with Google) consistent with the permissions you grant and those providers' processes.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the Services — understanding your accounts and answering your questions over text;
  • To proactively monitor your connected accounts and message you when something appears worth your attention (for example, an unusual charge, a renewal, or spending drift);
  • To create, secure, and administer your account;
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests;
  • For analytics, to understand and improve the Services and measure our marketing;
  • To detect, prevent, and address security incidents, fraud, and abuse;
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms; and
  • For other purposes with your consent or as permitted by law.

4. AI and Automated Processing

Frank uses artificial intelligence, including large language models provided by third-party model providers, to analyze your financial information and generate responses and insights. To do this, relevant information is sent to those providers solely to produce Frank's responses. Frank's insights and answers are generated automatically, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and are for informational purposes only — they are not financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. You are responsible for your own financial decisions.

5. How We Disclose Your Information

Service providers. We share information with vendors that help us operate the Services — for example, Plaid (account connectivity), cloud hosting and database providers, our AI/model providers, our text-messaging provider, and analytics and advertising partners — who process information on our behalf and are limited to that purpose.

Advertising and analytics partners. We may share certain online identifiers and usage information with analytics and advertising partners to measure and improve our marketing. See Section 6 for your choices.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information where we believe it is required or appropriate to comply with law or legal process, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of you, us, or others.

Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, as permitted by law.

What we do not do. We do not sell your personal or financial information, and we do not share it with lead-generation companies or law firms.

6. Cookies, Tracking, and Your Choices

We and our analytics/advertising partners use cookies, pixel tags, and similar Technologies on our website to operate the site, measure engagement, and understand the performance of our advertising. Depending on your location, we ask before using non-essential cookies, and we honor that choice. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Please note we do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

7. Text Messages (SMS)

Frank communicates with you primarily by text message. By providing your mobile number and texting Frank, you consent to receive text messages from us, which may include automated messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop receiving texts at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELPfor help. Opting out of texts will limit or end Frank's ability to provide the Services. See our Terms of Service for additional messaging terms.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to opt out of certain processing, and to appeal a decision regarding your request. You can also:

  • Disconnect an account at any time, which stops Frank from receiving further information from it;
  • Stop text messages by replying STOP; and
  • Delete your account by contacting us.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at help@kineticapps.io. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as you use the Services and as necessary to fulfill the purposes described here, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with applicable law. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information except where retention is required or permitted by law.

10. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Transfers

We are based in the United States and process information there. Information may be transferred to, and processed in, countries with data protection laws different from those where you live.

12. Children's Information

The Services are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
